Richard B. Cheney has served as a public servant over a number of years, and also is an entrepreneur who has made a name for himself. Cheney said that when he decided to accept the Republican nomination for vice president Cheney was looking forward to being a part of a president who will work with all parties in order to accomplish his goals. He will cooperate with opposition members in trust and respect. Richard Bruce Cheney is the son of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on January 30, 1941 within Lincoln Nebraska. In the age of thirteen Richard and his family relocated out of Nebraska and moved to Casper in the state of Casper where his father was Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservancy district.
