Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was first person to reach a flawless 10 during an Olympic occasion. Bela Karrolyi was an Romanian gymnastics instructor, who later became the coach for Comaneci and first became aware of Comaneci aged six. Comaneci participated for the first time in the national junior championships and finished 13th. Following that, she was crowned champion. In 1972, in a meet of communist countries junior athletes prior to the Olympics, she took home three gold medals. In 1973 and 1974 she won the all-around junior champ. When she made her debut as a Senior in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva, the five-time European champion, winning four gold medals and one silver. The first female to perform the reverse double salo of the bar with a parallel surface in the event she won American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager Carol Wayne started working in the entertainment field as a performer as figure skater. Along with her younger twin brother Nina Wayne she was part of the traveling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol began her career in the world of entertainment when she was a teenager. She began her career as model skater with her sibling Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show named Ice Capades. They featured ice skating shows that included theatrical performances.
