Zazie Beetz, born 1991 was born in Berlin. Her father, who was a German cabinet maker who emigrated into the United States after the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, is her mother a South African American social worker. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high-school as Beetz. Beetz, who graduated from LaGuardia in 2007 went to Skidmore College and studied French. She auditioned for the college immediately and was selected for the part of Van in Atlanta. Beetz is the daughter of the son of a German father as well as an African American mom from Berlin was raised within New York and spoke German and English. Zazie has performed in local theaters since the age of a kid. Her passion for acting was evident and she began acting in elementary school. Zendaya landed her Disney Channel breakout role thanks her impressive dancing skills. In 2010 the actress and dancer got her first break-out role when she was cast as Rocky Blue in the show "Shake It Up" along with the co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya's vegetarianism was first noticed at 11 after she visited the local slaughterhouse on an outing with her dad. PEOPLE says she told them, "It was horrible to watch all those animals waiting inside that slaughterhouse." "I could not believe this was the way I'd obtained my food!" Since that day she's been adhering to a strict plant-based eating plan.
